Zambezi Man – 3 Days of Fun and Pain

If you’re looking for an adventure, this is it! Feel the adrenaline rush as you get tossed through the rapids of the Zambezi, race your mountain bike through a rugged African landscape and challenge yourself to a full marathon in the spray of the Victoria Falls. Adrenaline rush and sore legs included…

From 26 – 27 August 2011 outdoor enthusiasts and sport fanatics flock to the mighty Victoria Falls for 3 days of extreme sports, stunning scenery and moments of exhausted bliss. From the town of Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe the first day takes you onto the wild waters of the Zambezi River. 50 km of rafting take you through the Grade 5 rapids of this natural roller-coaster. Once dried and rested it is time to pump your tires and lube your chain for a solid 104 km mountain bike race. The race course takes you through a diverse and beautiful Zimbabwean landscape. With little time to rest the third day challenges you to a full 42.2 km marathon. The scenery of the Natural Wonder Mosi-oa-Tunya distracts you from the pain in your legs and an overwhelming sense of achievement overcomes you as you cross the finish line. You are left with sore legs, many new friend and beautiful memories.
