My daughter, her husband, baby and myself stayed at Chobe Safari Lodge in a Riverside Suite for 4 nights in September. The accommodation was lovely, staff very friendly, and buffets were fantastic! Situated on the Chobe River with close proximity to Chobe National Park it is a great venue. We went on a 3 hour and also a half-day game drive which was fantastic. We saw 4 of the Big 5, unfortunately no rhinos, but the sighting of a leopard and lions and cubs right by the side of the road made it an experience that makes us want to return to Chobe and the Safari Lodge. I will return with my husband next time so that he can share my experiences.

I have been to Chobe Safari Lodge a few times and absolutely love it! They are located right on the Chobe River with stunning views. They recently renovated the hotel...I thought it was nice before and now it's even better! One thing I love is they have some bridge type walkways to get to the main part of the hotel with the swimming pool and dinning area. You are walking amongst the trees and is just a really great feeling. The meals are buffet style and have so much selection...truly amazing...we always feel like we roll out of there! The staff are friendly and its in a great location...right next to the Chobe National Park and on the river. You really feel like your in the heart of Africa...normally to get this feeling you need to be secluded but Chobe Safari Lodge is just a few minutes from town. We love this place and plan to keep on returning!
